This copper sculpture is even lovelier than the photos! We were at first intimidated by the extensive assembly instructions but they turned out to be super clear and easy to follow.
Stanwood Wind Sculpture: Kinetic Copper Dual Helix Spinner

Back ordered. Estimated Shipping Date May 27th, 2020.
For sale is a kinetic copper wind sculpture with a theme of DNA Double Helix. The entire wind sculpture including the pole and its fixture is made of pure copper with brass hardware. The stainless steel ball bearings within the brass hardware allow the two tentacle-mounted wheels move independently and opposite from each other. The pole is made of heavy gauge copper and secured into the ground by an all copper 4-point anchoring system. With its heavy duty construction, this kinetic sculpture can withstand strong winds up to 70 mph.
The wind catchers and arms are not coated and will age naturally. If you want to preserve its original copper shine, you may spray a layer of clear coat on it. We have had great success with clear coats made by Rust-Oleum (Crystal Clear Enamel) or Permalac (Original Clearcoat Lacquer Satin).
The craftsmanship on this kinetic sculpture is impeccable. The wheels are finely balanced and maintenance free. The sculpture is entirely weather proof and made to last for decades. We proudly back this beautiful wind sculpture with lifetime warranty.
Size: The entire sculpture (above ground portion) is about 7 1/2 ft tall. The spinner head is 22" x 42".

Beautiful well built , looks great in our yard where we get 40 to 50 mph winds
The Dual Helix arrived well-packaged and protected, and was very easy to assemble with the excellent illustrated step-by-step directions enclosed. I had it assembled and "planted' in my back yard beyond my pool screened enclosure, and spray shellacked in less than 30 minutes. This is a very well made item that is built to last. Sealed bearings, heavy copper stand, heavy brass fittings, and it still spins in slight breezes. My wife loves it as she sees it out the sliding glass patio doors from the kitchen and living room all day. I put a solar powered spotlight on it and it even looks great at night. Have bought the 'Lucky 8' since then, too.
I am a repeat buyer from Stanwood Imports. Fine products at good prices and prompt delivery.
The Dual Helix Spinner is beautiful! Exceeded my expectations. It has a more relaxed aura about it as compared to the leaf spinners which spin very fast. The vertical spinners have less surface area and so they spin a bit slower which, I think, makes them more hypnotizing. You will not be disappointed with any of the copper spinners! Very well constructed. Amazing engineering.
Beautiful. Exceded expectations
It looks beautiful all put together. This is my third spinner but I can't comment on the durability since it is still snowing here. It will look great between my willow leaves and lucky 8. Cant wait until you get the new flower spinner in.
It is beautiful, the problem I have is it comes apart when spinning. I had about a 15 mile wind and it came off the pole twice. I am going to try to put it back on. I tightened it extremely hard and it came off again. I can't physically tighten it any tighter
We love the contrast of the copper to the green backdrop, so have decided to put a clear coating on top of it. Just love watching it spin............ Maybe Stanwood could create a few smaller, different styles for contrast in size????
Granted these are more expensive, but the Helix is soooooooooo well made. And while we like our spinners to age to the brown/green, the copper contrasts more with any landscape, so we may coat it so it stays the copper color
