Dancing Octopus Spinner
 

For sale is a kinetic copper wind sculpture with a theme of Dancing Octopus. The tentacles are positioned so the dual spinners will always spin in opposite directions with winds. The entire wind sculpture including the pole and its fixture is made of pure copper with brass hardware. The stainless steel ball bearings within the brass hardware allow the two tentacle-mounted wheels move independently and opposite from each other. The pole is made of heavy gauge copper and secured into the ground by an all copper 4-point anchoring system. With its heavy duty construction, this kinetic sculpture can withstand strong winds up to 70 mph. 

The wind catchers and arms are not coated and will age naturally. If you want to preserve its original copper shine, you may spray a layer of clear coat on it. We have had great success with clear coats made by Rust-Oleum (Crystal Clear Enamel) or Permalac (Original Clearcoat Lacquer Satin).

    I love this spinner!!! The quality is superb and I enjoy watching it from anywhere in my yard. It has some patina now and is just beautiful! I just ordered the wind chimes...can't wait to get them!!

    There are many wind spinners on the market, but most are just cheap junk. Been there, done that. You get what you pay for, and in this particular instance, Stanwood Wind Sculptures delivers with a durable high-quality product that is worth the money. Replaceable parts are even available should they ever be required. We get lots of positive comments and inquiries about our wind spinners ... one in our front yard and one in our back yard.     ok look. Recommend getting Dancing Willow , which is far more interesting and spins much easier. I have the Willow and just ordered another Willow.

    I received the Dancing Octopus wind sculpture made by Stanwood Imports for my birthday and cannot believe what a beautiful addition it is to the yard. The slow movement is mesmerizing and everyone remarks about how unique the design is. We are very happy with the purchase and the flawless delivery service we received. I would recommend paying the extra to get this high quality item versus the cheaper options. It is well worth the investment.

    We received our “Dancing Octopus” in record time….so fast I couldn’t believe that’s what was in the box on our porch. The installation is easy and with a rubber mallet I had it installed securely in the ground and vertical. The product description claims the sculpture can withstand 70mph winds and that is correct and thoroughly tested in our windy area, something I had to see for myself during monsoon season. The main copper shaft is very thick and strong. The bearings are very high quality and the blades turn even in the lightest winds. We haven’t even weatherproofed the copper blades and they still shiny and like new. We are very pleased with this wind sculpture and have had many compliments from visitors.
