Double Windmill Spinner Head

For sale is a kinetic copper wind sculpture with a theme of Double Windmills. The blades are positioned so the dual spinners will spin in opposite directions once caught in the wind. The entire wind sculpture including the pole and its fixture is made of pure copper with brass hardware. The stainless steel ball bearings within the brass hardware allow the two windmill wheels move independently and opposite from each other. The kinetic sculpture is also capable of swiveling 360 degrees in the wind.. The pole is made of heavy gauge copper and secured into the ground by an all copper 4-point anchoring system. With its heavy duty construction and swiveling head, this kinetic sculpture can withstand strong winds up to 70 mph.

The wind catchers and arms are not coated and will age naturally. If you want to preserve its original copper shine, you may spray a layer of clear coat on it. We have had great success with clear coats made by Rust-Oleum (Crystal Clear Enamel) or Permalac (Original Clearcoat Lacquer Satin).

The craftsmanship on this kinetic sculpture is impeccable. The windmill wheels are finely balanced and maintenance free. The sculpture is entirely weather proof and made to last for decades. We proudly back this beautiful wind sculpture with lifetime warranty.

Size: Pole is about 6 ft tall. Each wheel is about 2 ft in diameter.

Easy on The Eyes, Easy on the Wallet, Easy to Install

The Quality was exceptional. Well packaged, exceptional bearings. I was admiring the smooth bearings in the axle piece even before assembly, and they allow the sturdy vanes to move in the slightest of breezes. Gustier winds make for very fast motion, but not overly so, so it seems there's a spillage of some wind force. It has an interesting design in that it seems to rotate horizontally in a somewhat random fashion, not staying as constantly turned into the wind as I would have thought. This is a pleasing effect though. I can imagine an optional design for a wind vane maintaining a more constant direction, but the minimalist design is pleasing to behold.
Construction is very sturdy, and not as delicate as it appears in the videos or pictures, with thick vanes and sturdy bearings. Looking forward to a second Stanwood Wind Sculpture, perhaps next year. We'll have to see how well it holds up to our tough Midwest Winters.

This is our third Stanwood wind spinner, and we love them all. Every one has performed flawlessly, even with a hint of wind. We love them.
